The Corunna Fourth of July Celebration is an annual fun-filled community/family celebration in appreciation and remembrance of our heritage and patriotism. It is held at Hugh McCurdy Park located on Corunna Avenue (M-71) in the City of Corunna. The majority of the activities and events are free to the public thanks to our sponsors and fund raising activities by the not-for-profit 4th of July Commission. |

Bike Decorating Contest - Have your son or daughter decorate their bike for the Nancy Nickels Memorial Bike Parade. Firecracker Parade - We have a great Firecracker Parade. If you or your organization want people to know you're out there, put together a unit and enter it in the parade. " 2008 PARADE LINE-UP" Car Cruise - Show off that car that you are so proud of. Bring it to our "Cruise to the Park Car Show". Craft Show - Indoor and outdoor spaces are available to show off your crafts and merchandise for sale. Check out our Craft Show Page Entertainment - There is entertainment going on all day. Check it out! Belt Sander Drag Race - Get out to your garage, grab your belt sander and bring it to the park for the drag racing event of the year. RE/MAX Balloon Launch - Bring your supper to the Grandstand to watch the RE/MAX Balloon go up, up and away. See the photo from last years launch and read all about it on this new web page. Behind the Scenes - The Commissioners and Volunteers of the Corunna Fourth of July Celebration. Sparkler - What is a Sparkler? Someone who helps light up the whole day. This is your opportunity to volunteer and pitch in. Needed: two new Commissioners & Volunteers to help out with any activity you choose.
