The Corunna Fourth of July Celebration is an annual fun-filled community/family celebration in appreciation and remembrance of our heritage and patriotism. It is held at Hugh McCurdy Park located on Corunna Avenue (M-71) in the City of Corunna. The majority of the activities and events are free to the public thanks to our sponsors and fund raising activities by the 4th of July Commission.

(07/04/12) - Residents of Corunna always celebrate the Fourth of July in a big way. This year was no different. The town was in a party mood all day.

This is the seventeenth year in a row Corunna has had a big Independence Day celebration. Hundreds lined the streets to watch the parade pass by. It always has a patriotic theme with military veterans taking part. It seems small towns just know the best way to celebrate the Fourth. Read More At Abc 12

The Grand Marshall
The Grand Marshall for the Corunna 4th of July Celebration is Dorothy Dvorak. Dorthy has been the Chairperson of the Craft Show for many years.  She will be riding the Theme Float in the downtown Firecracker Parade along with members of her family. Come help us Celebrate and thank Dorthy for her volunteerism over the years

No Personal Fireworks Allowed
For the safety of all attending and due to insurance liability, no sparklers or personal fireworks are allowed on city property including McCurdy Park or Mitchell fields. Police and city officials will be on patrol and will confiscate any dangerous materials.
